Rx, Scaled & Masters divisions. Masters 40+ Only.

WOD 01 | Winter Drudge | Chipper

Chipper –

1a: 50-40-30-20-10 OH Plate Lunge (45/35)
Burpee to plate
1b: *Cal Row*


At Go

One person will begin rowing while their teammate begins the OH Lunge. The person rowing & the person doing the OH Lunge/BTP work may switch out whenever they like. Each teammate will have their own plate. Lunges will be stationary & you may either step forward & back to set OR backward & back to set. You must alternate legs, touching the back knee to the ground each time & bringing the feet back in line with each other.

Once all 50 lunges are complete the team must now complete 50 burpee to plate. The head cannot be over the plate, chest must touch the ground, then jump off two feet & land on two feet on top of your respective plate. You may jump off the plate or step off the plate. Once all 50 BTP are complete, now on to 40s, 30s, & so on.

If the team finishes all of the 50-10 work, the tile at completion will be their score for 1a. If they do not complete the 50-10 work within the time limit, the completed reps will be their score for 1a. The total meters rowed in 10 minutes will be the score for 1b. The rower monitor will be preset to 10 minutes to get exact meters with no rollover at the end.

***The 1b score will also be the tie breaker for the day.

WOD 02 | Holiday Aches | For Time

FOR TIME 10 MIN CAP

50 HPC (115/85)

At GO

One person will bring their bar to the front rack position & hold it, while the other person starts doing the HPC. On the first HPC rep by either person at any point, the person but be fully extended at the hips with the bar & then go into their HPC. Bringing the bar from the ground, pausing at the knee (or not), & then cleaning the bar up will be a no rep.

After all HPC are done, the team will do 50 Front Squats. Bar must be in the front rack position, squat to bring the hip crease below the knee line, then back to full hip extension.

Once all FS are complete the team must do 50 STO. The bar must start every rep in contact with the shoulders & finish each rep with fully locked out arms overhead with feet in line with one another. Not locked out arms or shuffling/unstable feet will be a no rep.

After the STO are complete the team must lastly do 50 Deadlifts. Each rep must start with both plates touching the ground followed by the hips fully extending & the shoulders behind the bar at the top.

If the team completes all of the work within 10 minutes, the completion time will be the score. If they do not finish within the 10 minutes, the total reps completed will be the score.
